Clean Air Action Fund President, Joseph Minott, takes us through the beginnings of the Fund and how Pennsylvania’s political climate played a role in shaping its mission. As a 501(c)(4) organization, the Clean Air Action Fund is legally permitted to engage in a broader range of activities than the Clean Air Council, including electoral work and lobbying beyond 501(c)(3) limits. The Fund uses those tools to advocate for candidates and policies that address the climate crisis.
