Pennsylvanians Who Care About the Environment Must Show Up and Vote
The best way to protect the environment is to elect environmental champions at the federal, state, and local level.
To do that, we need everyone who cares about the environment to show up and vote! Voting is especially important in Pennsylvania, which is a swing state where each election has enormous environmental stakes. Too many environmental voters in Pennsylvania sit out some or all elections. So we’re giving you all of the information you’ll need to vote in every election.
How to Vote in Pennsylvania
Due to recent changes in election law, registering and voting in Pennsylvania has never been easier.
Make Your Plan to Vote
In Pennsylvania, there are three different ways to register to vote: in person, by mail, or online. Remember to register and make sure that your registration is up to date!
Voting by Mail
Voting by mail is easy and secure. If you choose to vote by mail, make sure to request your ballot early. When you receive your ballot, (1) follow all instructions carefully, (2) USE BOTH ENVELOPES, and (3) fill out the outer return envelope.
Voting Early In-Person
Up to one week before Election Day, you can vote early in person at your county election office by requesting a ballot, filling it out, and returning it on the spot.
Voting at the Polls
You can vote at your polling place on Election Day from 7am-8pm. If you requested but did not return your mail ballot, you can still vote at the polls by surrendering your entire mail ballot package at your polling place (ballot and envelopes) or voting provisionally.
